Crowning and runner-up results
At the grand finale, Pema Choden Bhutia was crowned Miss Universe Sikkim 2026. Youdenla Bhutia won the position of 1st Runner-Up, while Bindita Basnett was named the 2nd Runner-Up. The event brought together contestants from across the state and focused on giving them a platform to showcase their skills and dedication.
A notable outcome of hosting the finale in Yangang was the attention given to Donila Bhutia, a 17-year-old girl from rural Yangang. The organisers and judges noted that she was not eligible to participate due to her age, but they recognised her confidence and natural presence. They described her potential as a future runway model, linking the event to the idea of bringing prestigious opportunities closer to grassroots youth.
The programme was marked by a lively atmosphere and enthusiastic participation, with organisers presenting the occasion as a celebration of empowerment, leadership, and cultural pride for young women in Sikkim.
