CAP Sikkim holds ACEC coordination meetings across constituencies
Citizen Action Party (CAP) Sikkim held coordination meetings with ACEC leaders and karyakartas in multiple constituencies to strengthen its grassroots structure
Citizen Action Party (CAP) Sikkim held a series of Assembly Constituency Executive Council (ACEC) coordination meetings on Saturday at different locations across the state. The party said the meetings were aimed at strengthening its organisation at the grassroots level and improving engagement with citizens.
Focus on constituency-level issues and worker coordination
The meetings brought together CAP leaders, ACEC members and karyakartas. They discussed organisational matters and constituency-level concerns, along with ways to improve coordination among party workers. CAP also highlighted the need for better public participation and regular outreach to understand issues affecting people.
A coordination meeting for the Khamdong-Singtam ACEC was held at SimickLingzey. CAP Sikkim vice president Sumati Chettri chaired the meeting, which focused on boosting organisational coordination and strengthening local engagement with residents. Participants also raised key issues related to the constituency and discussed how the party could remain connected with public concerns.
In another meeting, CAP Sikkim president Ganesh K. Rai chaired the coordination session of the 12-Melli ACEC at Lungchok. Party leaders and karyakartas from the Melli Assembly constituency attended. The discussions covered building a stronger organisational structure and improving how grassroots workers coordinate during party activities.
Party reiterates people-first approach
CAP said the Melli discussions also included taking forward its reform-oriented agenda through increased interaction with people. The party president emphasised the need to maintain a strong connection with citizens and to keep party work rooted in local aspirations.
CAP further stated that similar ACEC coordination meetings and grassroots interactions will continue in different constituencies as part of its ongoing organisational strengthening and public outreach programme. The party described the Saturday meetings as a step toward building a disciplined, responsive and people-centric organisation in Sikkim.
