The Citizen Action Party (CAP) Sikkim held its Geyzing District Executive Council meeting at the district party office in Geyzing. The meeting was attended by party leaders under the guidance of CAP Sikkim president Shri Ganesh Kumar Rai.
Focus on stronger coordination and grassroots expansion
The party said the discussions concentrated on strengthening its organisational structure across the district. Leaders reviewed how the District Executive Council would coordinate with Assembly Constituency Executive Committees (ACECs), Unit Booth Councils (UBCs), and Booth Level Agents (BLAs). The aim was to speed up organisational expansion, support the membership drive, and ensure party programmes are carried out in all four Assembly constituencies in the district.

Preparation work for the forthcoming Karyakarta Sabha was also reviewed. Party leaders discussed plans to improve participation and maintain organisational discipline among workers.
Electoral rolls handed over to constituency units
As part of the meeting, the party formally handed over the Special Summary Revision Draft Electoral Rolls to the respective ACEC presidents. CAP Sikkim leaders said office bearers were urged to take part in voter verification so that eligible citizens are properly enrolled in the electoral rolls.
Constituency reports were presented by the presidents of the ACECs, covering organisational progress, membership expansion, and grassroots activities. CAP Sikkim district treasurer Sanjay Sharma presented the district financial report, noting voluntary contributions received from party supporters and well-wishers across Geyzing District. The executive council appreciated public confidence and reiterated its commitment to transparency and accountability.
In his concluding remarks, Shri Ganesh Kumar Rai urged party leaders and workers to continue with unity, dedication, integrity, and organisational discipline. He emphasised that a strong grassroots structure remains central to the party’s vision, and called for sustained public outreach while preparing for organisational programmes across the district.
