Spain controlled possession as Argentina stayed compact
The final was described as tense and tactical from the start. Spain enjoyed more of the ball and used captain Rodri to shape the midfield play, while Argentina struggled to find space in dangerous areas. Over 120 minutes, Argentina managed only two attempts, and neither reached the target.
